HELLO! My name is Kathey and I'm so excited to be your BusinessFAB® Academy Instructor. A little about me...I am a nationally recognized small business strategist, award winning supplier diversity expert with experience spanning nearly two decades in marketing, small business development, supplier diversity and entrepreneurship and a sought after subject matter expert and a frequent keynote speaker, panelist and workshop facilitator at conferences and events focusing on supplier diversity, small business development/entrepreneurship, women's entrepreneurship and empowerment and diversity and inclusion. I'm a graduate of the Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators (SEE) Program and have been an adjunct business instructor/lecturer for nearly 20 at several universities and colleges including the University of Florida, Virginia Tech, Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), Savannah State University, etc. where I've taught various undergraduate and graduate courses including Leadership, Professional Writing, Marketing, Public Relations, Intro to Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Communications. I've addressed audiences at EY, Interise, Inc Magazine’s Inc 5000, Fast Company, ESSENCE Festival, The Conference Board, The University of Florida and MBDA, to name a few and have been a small business coach/advisor for a number of national business accelerators and organizations including the Small Business Administration's (SBA) Emerging Leaders, Goldman Sachs, National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Babson College, the #1 school for entrepreneurship education in the world and Inc Magazine's Inc 5000. I've had the pleasure of writing a few business books - 50 Billion Dollar Boss: African American Women Sharing Stories of Success in in Entrepreneurship and Leadership (Palgrave Macmillan), Implementing Supplier Diversity (Palgrave Macmillan) and Supplier Diversity for Dummies (Wiley). I am so passionate about helping businesses grow and succeed. I look forward to joining you on this journey!
